Welcome to the Mount Jackson Cemetery site. Mount Jackson is an abandoned cemetery under the management of the Wayne Township Trustee’s Office.
Assessments and planning are underway to begin a volunteer restoration project in the Spring of 2027. This project will be led by the Wayne Township Trustee’s Office and Stone Revival Historical Preservation.
Volunteers will be trained in any aspect of restoration they are comfortable with. Work Days will be scheduled once a month from April to October. All information regarding volunteering and upcoming and completed work will be presented here. In addition to grave marker restoration historical and genealogical research will be conducted. There will be various opportunities for volunteers to choose from.
